As for why this sojourn, I realized I needed a bridge to the next part of my life and cross-country travel was the bridge. (BTW, thanks to Laura Dugan who kept calling this journey a "sojourn" and from whence I got my car's name, Sojourner Truth). I have this deep urge to travel, to see this magnificent country and especially it's natural beauty. I needed a way to break free of my safe haven that had become a gilded cage. And this was the path I felt called to take.
The Red Barn Institute is a gathering place for people with the courage to make a difference. At the Red Barn Institute, our philosophy of organizational ecology is rooted in the wisdom of the earth. We use these lessons from nature and apply them in practical ways to our organizations, our groups, and ourselves. The Red Barn Institute services include coaching and consulting for individuals and organizational groups and teams. We also offer in-depth programs for leadership development, including Women’s Leadership Circle and Knowing Our Place. Using our minds, our hearts, and our hands, we restore the balance between ourselves, others and the earth through the integration of organization development and environmental stewardship paired with spiritual awareness.
And here's a shout out to the women of my Women's Leadership Circle at Hope Springs Institute who created a Wisdom Circle for me and helped me "femifest" the Red Barn Institute! Thank you, Moon Sisters!
